Would anyone be upset if we signed Gerbe? He got put on waivers today with intention of being bought out. He's insanely quick with hands that keep up. Might just need a fresh start somewhere.

Couldn't disagree more with your thoughts on acquiring seguin. At any stage I think you go for someone of his calibre, that being said I believe you may be correct saying we may not have the assets to get him. To bad really I'd love to see him on a line with sven!

I am a Leafs fan, but I agree with this totally. Any Leaf fan will tell you Bozak is a player that won't hurt you, but he won't take you to the next level. He is aplug right now as the #1 center, Kessel is a point a game player, Bozak is lucky if he is a 0.5 per game player. He would be a perfect #3...we'll see where he lands...

Leafs fans should understand this the most. They wanted a first line scorer and they gave up assets to get one in Kessel. Now they Kessel and need a centerman which they could have had if they exercised a little patience.

Yes actually, I wasn't sure about the pick at first but a very good pick. Jones will be great but the cats can't score goals and Barkov will help.
